You do not need hours at the range to improve. You need a plan. Here is the 30 minute routine I give many of my adult students.
- 5 minutes: warm up. Easy half swings with a wedge.
- 10 minutes: one swing focus. Work on the single key from your last lesson. Alternate practice swings with real shots.
- 10 minutes: short game. Chips and pitches to different targets. This is where scores drop fastest.
- 5 minutes: pressure putts. Make five three footers in a row before you leave. Miss one, start over.
Write down what you worked on and how it went. Bring that note to your next lesson and we can pick up right where you left off.
